Cuatro Viento Vientos International Airport, at less than 7 miles from Madrid's city center, is strategically located in one of Europe's best flying environments, with airspace unsurpassed by any other in the world. The airport is connected by direct motorway to the city center, ring-road connections to all other motorways, the Madrid Metro underground network, as well as multiple bus connections. Barajas International Airport is just 20 minutes drive away. With over 35 daily flights between Madrid and London alone, Madrid is a major hub for international flight connections.

The airport has a 1500 metre long tarmac runway, and lies within a controlled air traffic zone, offering the student pilot exposure to controlled and uncontrolled airspace at all times.

Horse riding, skiing, sailing, diving, windsurfing and mountain walking are just a few of the numerous activities available in the province that offers around 300 days of sunshine a year with average temperatures of 10ºC in the winter and 27ºC in the summer.
